Marianne Brogan

Is there a music lover inside of you yearning for expression? Consider the ukulele, instrument of liberation! Learn the joys of ukulele playing with the founder of Portland’s Ukulele Association, Marianne Brogan.

Marianne has studied teaching techniques with the best, including James Hill. She has been teaching ukulele for 14 years - beginner to intermediate level (adults). Private lessons are available and several times a year, group lessons are arranged. Marianne’s workshops are offered as an educational experience, or as entertainment, or team building. Marianne travels with loaner ukuleles and teaches regularly at music camps, senior centers, music stores, and group events. An introductory 45-minute workshop - no prior experience expected with loaner instruments provided, is just one option for private groups - a great team building exercise and lots of fun!
